Our Materials

100% Korean silk & hand crafted

Silk is a natural material that has been in use in Korea from as early as 200 BC. Most of our garments are made from 100% silk, giving them a high quality texture and sheen that other materials cannot replicate.

We carry some items which are made from polyester or a silk blend containing polyester, but we always make sure to clearly state the material if it is not silk. The use of polyester can aid in a more versatile fabric and lowers costs for both the maker and customer.

Everything we carry is hand-made by experienced hands who have mastered the craft of hanbok-making over a lifetime, both in Korea and in our Los Angeles studio.

What we do.

We specialize in crafting couture hanbok, which is specifically designed according to your style preferences and unique measurements. Each garment is a unique work of craftsmanship that can be passed down through generations.

Hanbok is worn to major life events and celebrations like weddings, baby Dohl and 100 Day (Baek-il) celebrations, and memorials. Our pieces have also been worn on red carpets, charitable events, concerts and competitions.

We have been notably featured in Vogue Magazine and Martha Stewart Weddings Magazine.
